Q: Are your products experiencing delays?

A: Yes. We are currently seeing delays for our appliances as a result of global material shortages and logistical challenges. Please know we are working diligently to produce and deliver our appliances as quickly as we can.

Q: What is causing these delays?

A: Unprecedented demand for home appliances, global materials shortages and other logistical issues are affecting the entire appliance industry. Specific to Thermador, these challenges are causing delays in producing our products. Our entire team is personally invested in ensuring we fulfill our customers’ orders as quickly as possible. We are closely monitoring the situation every day and adjusting in order to minimize the impact to our customers.

Q: How long could it take to receive a product from the time it is ordered?

A: We encourage customers to plan ahead to allow extra lead time for their products to be delivered. The length of these delays vary from product to product on a daily basis but fulfillment delays for some products have recently been around 4 to 6 months.

Q: What products are backordered? And for how long?

A: We are currently experiencing delays across all of our product categories – coffee, cooking, refrigeration and dishwashers. The length of these delays vary from product to product.

Q: Is this a problem Thermador is facing, or is it a larger issue in the industry?

A: The entire home appliances industry is currently experiencing a surge in demand for home appliances, as well as navigating the global materials shortages and other logistical issues. These challenges are facing many industries beyond the home appliance industry.

Q: Is the ongoing semiconductor shortage affecting Thermador?

A: Semiconductors are one of many critical components and materials that are experiencing global shortages, affecting not only the production of many home appliances but many other products that consumers have come to rely upon in their daily lives.

Q: Which Thermador products use semiconductors?

A: All of our product categories utilize electronic components.

Q: When do you expect things to return to normal for your appliance deliveries?

A: We expect conditions to be challenging for the foreseeable future. The length of these delays vary from product to product on a daily basis but fulfillment delays for some products have recently been around 4 to 6 months.

Q: Who do I contact for answers about my product delays?

A: We apologize that your products are taking longer than expected to be delivered. We are not able to provide specific information on product orders from retailers/dealers. We encourage you to please reach out to your dealer/retailer or builder for the most up-to-date information on your order.

Q: Will this delay affect my ability to participate in promotional program/savings?

A: If your purchase is part of our Thermador One Two Free program, we will still fulfill your order with the full program benefits you’ve chosen in the event that delays on our part result in your order being fulfilled after this program is no longer in effect.

Q: Why has the delivery estimate for my product changed?

A: We are working hard to produce and deliver our appliances as quickly as we can, but there are many supply chain shortages and logistical challenges that can change daily and impact delivery times.

Q: The delay in receiving my appliances is affecting my remodel—what do I do?

A: We encourage you to reach out to your dealer/retailer or builder for the most up-to-date information on your order, and to discuss other options that may be available to you.

Q: Are there delays for parts to service appliances?

A: Due to global materials shortages, and other logistical issues, we are seeing longer than usual lead times in delivering parts.

Q: Would it be faster to order a new appliance or repair my existing appliance?

A: Please be aware that we are experiencing long delays on our appliances and some parts to be delivered due to global shortages. For home appliance orders, the length of these delays vary from product to product on a daily basis but fulfillment delays for some products have recently been around 4 to 6 months. Because you may need one or more parts to service your appliance, please give us a call at 1-800-735-4328 so we learn more about your specific needs and help determine what may be the best solution for you.

Q: I am unable to use my appliance and need a replacement as soon as possible. What do I do?

A: While we hope you would consider Thermador, please be aware we are seeing long delays on our appliance and some parts to be delivered due to global shortages. For home appliance orders, the length of these delays vary from product to product on a daily basis but fulfillment delays for some products have recently been around 4 to 6 months. Because you need a quick replacement, we encourage you to reach out to your preferred dealer/retailer to find a replacement that could be delivered in as short a timeframe as possible – and it may not be one of our appliances. Q: How do I find a service technician to help me with my appliance?

Q: I am working on a new home construction/home renovation project that will not be completed until the end of 2021 or early 2022. Should I still consider Thermador products?

A: If you are working on a long-lead project, we encourage you to continue to work with your Thermador builder or retailer. We suggest placing your order as soon as you are ready, factoring that that we are experiencing long delays on our appliances and some parts to be delivered due to global shortages. For home appliance orders, the length of these delays vary from product to product on a daily basis but fulfillment delays for some products have recently been around 4 to 6 months. We are working through the current global supply chain challenges, and look forward to getting back on track with shipments to our customers.
