Keffir Lime & Honey-Mustard Glazed Salmon Steaks (Thermador Steam)

Classics with a twist

By steaming salmon one can achieve the most surreal end product. The moistest most succulent salmon I have ever cooked was in the Thermador Steam oven.

(Serves: 4/ Prep Time: 20min)


Ingredients:
Four 6-8oz salmon steaks (3/4”)
¼ cup honey Dijon
12-16 keffir lime leaves
1 tbsp garlic puree
1 tbsp lemon zest

Method:
Combine Dijon, garlic puree and lemon zest together. Brush each steak with mixture and season to your liking with salt and pepper. Place the salmon steaks in a tray lined with parchment paper. Place down 3-4 keffir lime leaves on top of the steaks and place in Thermador steam oven rack level 3. Set mode to Convection/Steam 210F and cook for 7min. Remove to cook and serve with favourite side and vegetables.
