Mulled Wine & Cranberry Sorbet


4 cups fresh cranberries
2 ½ red wine (less alcohol the better)
4 whole all spice
2 cinnamon sticks
2 whole cloves
1 orange (juice and zest)
1 vanilla bean

Combine cranberries, red wine, 2 ½ cups of water, spices, orange juice, zest and vanilla bean in a sauce pan. Cook on medium heat for 25 minutes. Strain mixture through a sieve and push some of the cranberry pulp through. Chill mixture then spin in an ice cream maker until frozen.

Serve in Martini glasses with cinnamon sticks for garnish.
