Double Smoked Bacon Brownies


1 cup softened butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
4 strips of double smoked bacon (cooked, roughly chopped)

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9x11” baking dish.
In a stainless steel bowl mix butter, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
Mix in flour and cocoa powder until moistened, fold in bacon and nuts.
Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
Serve with ice cream for an extra flare!
